Egemen GÖK

Egemen Gök is an Istanbul-based investigative journalist, editor, and writer specializing in foreign affairs, defense industries, and the socio-political dynamics shaping contemporary Turkey. Over the past decade, he has worked across leading independent newsrooms including Medyascope, Artı Gerçek, and currently Sözcü TV, where he serves as a professional editor overseeing global affairs and long-form analytical content.

His reporting and editorial work explore Turkey’s evolving political landscape, the Kurdish question, developments in Syria, defense procurement, NATO relations, and the broader intersection of geopolitical strategy with class dynamics, economic precarity, and social inequality. Combining open-source intelligence, field reporting, and structural political analysis, Egemen focuses on making complex regional issues accessible to the public.

He holds an MA in Philosophy & Social Thought from Istanbul Bilgi University.
